The Cruel Prince Review
First of all can we just give my Bookstagram pic some love! I think that is the best picture I have taken and manipulated successfully. I love it and it helps that I adore those shoes. The book cover is beautiful too. The branches and the crown are raised so that you can feel them so it is pretty awesome.Now for the story.
Of course I want to be like them. They're beautiful as blades forged in some divine fire. They will live forever.And Cardan is even more beautiful than the rest. I hate him more than all the others. I hate him so much that sometimes when I look at him, I can hardly breathe.
Jude was seven years old when her parents were murdered and she and her two sisters were stolen away to live in the treacherous High Court of Faerie. Ten years later, Jude wants nothing more than to belong there, despite her mortality. But many of the fey despise humans. Especially Prince Cardan, the youngest and wickedest son of the High King.

I expected something totally different when I began reading this story. I thought Jude would hate Prince Cardan and vice versa and they would eventually fall for each other defying the odds, but NO! That is not what happens! There is a lot of unexpected twists and turns in this story! The ending was AMAZING!
I love how Jude is just like you or me. There is nothing special about her she is just a typical human girl that has been dealt a shitty hand and she changes it! I was rooting for her from the beginning and she did not let me down. Holly did such a great job with creating this world of fairies. As much as it would suck to be a human in this world I couldn't help wanting to be in it! So, I cannot wait until The Wicked King is released in January so that i can return to this magical place and find out what happens next!
